We publish a wide range of information about our organisation, services and performance through our website and our Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs) publication scheme. We aim to make information easy to find and understand wherever possible.

You may be able to find the information you need by:

Requesting Information

As a housing association, Fairoak is not generally subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000. However, we are committed to openness and will consider requests for information and provide information where it is appropriate and lawful to do so. We also support tenants’ rights to access information through our STAIRs scheme.

To make a request, please write to us by email or letter and include:

  • Your name.
  • Your contact details.
  • A clear description of the information you are requesting.
  • How you would prefer to receive the information (for example by email or post).

Requesting Information About Yourself

If you would like to access information that Fairoak holds about you, you can make a Subject Access Request under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Fairoak has processes in place to help individuals exercise their information rights.

Your information rights include:
