• what you must do as a tenant
• how we will work with you to look after your home
If you need help to understand your tenancy, please tell us.
Your tenancy agreement tells you about your rights and responsibilities.
This includes things like:
- paying your rent and service charge
- looking after your home
- reporting repairs
- letting us in for safety checks
- being respectful to neighbours, staff and other people
- keeping shared areas safe and clear
Fairoak must also keep your home safe, carry out repairs we are responsible for, and listen to tenants.
Your tenancy is linked to important housing services. This includes:
- rent and service charges
- repairs and maintenance
- home safety checks
- planned work to homes
Please tell us if something in your home is broken, unsafe or worrying you.
We will look at the problem and tell you what needs to happen next.

This plan will show you how we want to work with you over the next five years to make sure our services are tenant friendly and your voice is heard.
Tenant engagement means giving you the chance to have a say in how Fairoak works with you. We want you to help us to make the decisions that affect you and your home.
We want to work with you, your family and your support to help you to share your thoughts and help us make better choices.
We have always worked hard to offer you services that meet your needs and help you to live happily in your home. We want to get better at how we work together to understand you, your needs and your views.
Our plan explains how we will listen to you and work together to make Fairoak better for all of our tenants.
