Welcome to the annual report to tenants for 2024/2025.
This Annual Report tells you about what we have been doing between 1st April 2024 and the 31st March 2025, how we have been working hard to make sure you are happy with the work we do and what we have been doing with the rent you have paid us.
We will also be telling you about our plans for the next year.
Message from the Chair of the Fairoak Board, Sarah Parr
“2025 has been a year of real progress for Fairoak as we launched our ambitious new strategic plan, setting out our priorities for the next five years.
At the heart of everything we do are our tenants – providing the keys to happy, healthy homes where people can flourish and be part of their community. This year we’ve continued to find new ways to listen to our tenants and understand what matters most to them about their homes.
We’ve remained focused on being more than just a landlord, working hard to deliver the best homes we can whilst supporting over 110 tenants across Cumbria, North Lancashire, County Durham and Northumberland.
Despite challenges around rising costs and development challenges, our team has shown incredible commitment. Whether that’s going the extra mile in their daily work or taking time out of their evenings and weekends to organise the activities and holidays that everyone loves. I am very proud that we keep putting our tenants first.
I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to Fairoak’s success this year – Lisa and our staff team who are (almost) always smiling, the Owls who continue to give us their time and honest opinions, playing such a key role in shaping what we do and our Board members who volunteer their time to support Fairoak in delivering its purpose.”
