The Board is made up of members of the public who are committed to the work of the Association. We invite tenants, advocates and parents of our tenants to apply for membership of the Board in addition to other interested individuals.
Each Board member brings to the organisation a wealth of experience, along with individual skills that are utilised for the benefit of the organisation as a whole. Each member of the Board gives their time voluntarily, being driven by the firm belief that the work of the Association is paramount in assisting people with learning disabilities.
Some members of our Board have family members with a learning disability who may live in accommodation managed by the Association. The Board positively encourages membership from individuals who have such family contacts. This helps to enrich the culture of the Association. The Association is also working towards enabling customers to take an active role on the Board of Directors.
The current members of the Fairoak Housing Association Board are:
- Jackie Forster (Chair)
- Colin Boothman
- Brian Shiach
- Lesley Dixon

- Julie Chapman (Company Secretary)
