There are over 261,000 people who have a learning disability in Ukraine and many are feared to have been abandoned as refugees flee.
Inclusion Europe are working with the VGO coalition and their local organisations to provide food, water, medicines, hygiene products and other support urgently required for Ukrainians who have a learning disability.
To support the work of Inclusion Europe, Fairoak Housing Association will be holding a coffee morning on:
Saturday May 7th, 2022, from 9am – 12pm
at the Unitarian Chapel, Branthwaite Brow, Kendal.
All are welcome.
We will be serving refreshments and cakes alongside a raffle and a tombola. All proceeds will be donated to Inclusion Europe and 100% of the money collected will be used directly to assist Ukrainian citizens with intellectual disabilities and their families impacted by war in Ukraine.
We would love to see as many of you as possible to support this cause which is very important to us all at Fairoak Housing.
