Our customers and tenants are at the heart of everything Fairoak do. We help support their independence through provision of high quality accommodation and inclusion in social, community and learning-led activities.
Who are Fairoak’s tenants?
The supported accommodation provision we offer is for adults (ages 18+) with assessed learning disabilities, including autism.
The majority of our tenants have grown up in the local community and, as adults, wish to enjoy an independent lifestyle in a safe and secure environment.
All of Fairoak’s tenants require various levels of support, either from their families or provided by dedicated support workers.
Whatever their situation, we encourage our tenants to participate in social and community activities, many of which are organised by Fairoak and designed to be safe, fun and enjoyable as well as introducing new skills or experiences wherever possible.
Being creative and learning new skills at craft workshops is something many of our tenants really enjoy.
Our range of accommodation is home for tenants of all ages, from young adults through to senior citizens.

Being part of the ‘Fairoak Family’
The Fairoak Housing Association offices see many of our tenants dropping in throughout the day – sometimes with a request, sometimes with an important question and most frequently, just to call in for a chat and tell us about their day.
We’ll always welcome this and never want any of our tenants to feel that we’re too busy or don’t have time for them. We appreciate the importance of these interactions and the ‘open door’ policy is something which, as an organisation, we will always extend to our tenants.
Our customer-focused approach means we can provide individual support and tenants can feel they are part of the wider Fairoak family.
