Fairoak Housing manages a programme of repairs and maintenance on all our properties. The programme is delivered by professional local companies, all of whom are sensitive to the needs of our tenants.
All contractors are fully accredited with appropriate certificates (Gas Safe etc.). Our repairs and cyclical maintenance programmes include minor repairs, redecoration programmes, ground maintenance and adaptations to suit tenants needs. Statutory testing and inspections are carried out on all properties including emergency lighting, gas and electricity safety checks, drainage, heating systems, roof maintenance, fire precautions and security measures. All properties are subject to regular management inspections.

Fairoak Housing Association provides an emergency repair service during out of office hours. In addition to emergency repairs this service covers advice and reassurance to tenants. This service complies with the latest regulations in relation to repairs.
Fire Alarm Monitoring
All our properties are equipped with fire alarms and smoke detectors that are annually serviced. All activations are followed up to ensure that appropriate action is taken.
Security Door Access
Some of our properties have a controlled door entry system that prevents people entering the building without authorisation. If this security feature is important to potential residents please contact the Association for further information.
The Association subcontracts the maintenance of its gardens to local companies that are carefully selected to meet the needs of our tenants.
