Fairoak Housing Association is dedicated to providing high quality accommodation tailored to meet the needs of each individual.
Homes for independent living
Accommodation is provided in flats or shared housing, based within local communities and close to local amenities, with all properties offering standard features such as full central heating and individually tailored adaptations for tenants’ needs.
All properties are maintained to a high standard and all tenants play a part in decisions relating to their living accommodation such as decoration, adaptations, garden landscaping, support providers.
We offer a range of living styles and options including Supported Living (individual room with en suite facilities within a shared house) and Independent Living (self-contained flats).
Supported living with Fairoak is usually a small group of people sharing a property, each having their own private space and use of communal facilities.
A private space for everyone
Usually, each tenant has exclusive use of their own bedroom and en-suite facilities.
Tenants may live in a self-contained flat with shared access and support from staff where necessary.
Independent accommodation
Self-contained flats, apartments or small houses suitable for individuals or couples. Our independent living accommodation consists of renovated and adapted properties divided into fully self-contained flats.
Each has a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and one or more bedrooms. They are equipped with all modern appliances and decorated to high standards.

People with learning difficulties often have no prospect of owning their own home, usually because limited income makes it hard to qualify for a mortgage.
Fairoak is able to offer the option of becoming a homeowner through shared ownership, with a property owned partly by a housing association and partly by an individual.
*subject to mortgage availability.
