About Fairoak > Mission Statement
Policy Statement
Fairoak Housing Association’s sole purpose is to provide affordable
and suitably adapted housing for people with learning and other disabilities. The
goal of the organisation is to offer continuous improvement, ensuring
effectiveness and efficiency, through a framework of equality and values
that promote the rights and desires of people with disabilities.
To meet the housing demands, needs and desires of our customers.
Principles
To provide good quality
affordable homes suitable to the identified needs of the client group.
To provide a range
of integrated accommodation for identified needs to assist with the facilitation
of independent living.
To maintain housing
stock to a high standard of repair through good maintenance management.
To work in an innovative
fashion to overcome barriers in the provision of housing for our client
group.
To work to ensure access
to services regardless of type or severity of disability.
To have a continuous
improvement and modernisation plan with a strong customer focus to provide
best value for all service users.
To engage people with
the development and management of their own communities and promote social
inclusion.
To take a positive
approach to complaints and recommendations linking these to quality improvement
plans.
To work in partnership
with all stakeholders to plan and deliver housing services that meet local
needs.
To assist service users
where possible to maintain their tenancies.
